What is Google AdSense exactly?

AdSense is their ad network, here’s how it works:

People want to do advertising, they use Google Adwords to create their campaigns.

Those campaigns are displayed on Google Search, and they also can be displayed on other sites: web publishers who participate in Google’s AdSense program.

Thos web publishers display an AdSense block on their site and in this AdSense block, Google chooses which campaigns to display.

Advertisers pay only when someone click on their ads.
Publishers get paid only when someone click on the AdSense block on their site.

That’s how the whole thing works. Google decides of everything, even on how much publishers get paid per click and how much an advertiser should pay for a certain campaign’s topic…
