I saw a rainbow in my life’s sky
It was so beautiful to my eye
It was so stunning with its beauty
I forgot to do my duty
I could hardly take my eye from the bow
So I simply kept on saying wow
Wondered if I could place it on my bedroom wall
To bring back my happiness that was once so tall
My joy was high and I could feel the new blood in my veins
Each cell in my body enjoyed it and forgot the past pains
But what a fool I am to think it is an eternal bliss
Ho, it disappeared suddenly making me to miss
I thank you dear bow, for the boundless joy you showered on me
And for the deep impression you made on me
Like a short poem of powerful words, I love you thee
Now that you are gone, but when will, I stop looking up to the sky?
The joy was real, need I to say my spirits went high,
The rain bow has gone, leaving the pain of death
You taught me a lesson to day that is life’s worth
If rain lives short, it’s bow lives still shorter, so have sense,
Never enjoy a rainbow if you cannot cope with its absence.
