Mac OS X Tiger includes a new feature called Spotlight. With Spotlight, you can find anything on your computer as quickly as you type. Search your entire system from one place: Files, emails, contacts, images, calendars and applications appear instantly. But did you know that you can use these shortcuts to make your search for items with Spotlight even faster.

Use these shortcuts to search for items with Spotlight:
Open the Spotlight menu: Command-Space
Open the Spotlight window: Command-Option-Space

Use these shortcuts to select items in the Spotlight menu.
Open the top hit: Command-Return
Move to the first item in the next category: Command-Up Arrow
Move to the first item in the previous category: Command-Down Arrow
Move to the first item in the menu: Control-Up Arrow
Move to the last item in the menu:Control-Down Arrow
Display an item in the Finder: Command-click it
