The software protection battle in Europe is clearly far from over and last year’s war on “software patents” (more precisely: computer-implemented-inventions) was just the tip of the iceberg. The Business Software Alliance (BSA), disheartened by the European Parliament’s rejection to harmonizing patent law has taken a new direction. Now the question is why on earth is software so expensive in the first place!?
