What kind of technology is inside hybrid cars that makes it so fuel efficient and environmentally friendly?

This is NOT a new technology has been in existence for quite sometime but with not big buzz,Hybrid as the word sounds, it is a combination of electricity and standard engine. To put in more easier think of locomotive, it combines diesel engine with electric engine, think of Submarine, it combines nuclear engine with electric engine.

In hybrid cars, it combines the energy of gasoline engines and an electric motor to power the car. This means that with both engines running, it will lessen the load on the internal combustion engine. The electric motor will share the labor. With this technology it will allow you to save precious fuel and also let you emit far lower volumes of toxic fumes in the air.

When a hybrid car goes idle, especially in a peak traffic, it would automatically switch to run in electricity and the gasoline engine would be switched off. This inturns save more money in your pocket by avoiding frequent visits to the fuel stations. Another step in improving the hybrid technology is that the cars would run even when the gasoline engine is switched off. And these would be a kind of back up when the cars runs out of electricity. After re-fuel, the battery back will re-charge automatically for another clean elctric run. So you won’t need to actually put the battery pack to the charger
