Few months ago, I’ve started reading a very notorious and also quite controversial book titled “The clash of civilizations and the remaking of world order”, and written by Samuel P. Huntington, a professor at the Harvard University …

I’ve first read the book’s prologue, then first 30 pages, and then I checked also few maps, tables etc. Of course, I jumped to the “index” or “page-map” page (at the end of the book) and looked for references to Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and Yugoslavia (and indeed found them); and so I later read these particular pages with great interest.

And let me also say that it is somehow my “goal” for many years now (or better yet, since I remember being) to know/learn as much as I can about the world around me (and on which we were all born, and live on it), especially about the world now, as it is in this “era”. Maybe this is the reason that I was always good at the geography and history classes at school (I’ve almost always had the best possible score 5); also see here: http://users.volja.net/tayiper/other/about.html for few other details about me. Yeah, history… And further about scores that I was getting at primary school: I was scored 5 or 4 in most of the subjects/classes and most of the years (i.e. the final scoring) and most without any learning at all. I guess it’s all about the “universal” knowledge.
