31. On my 26th birthday and my website (2.09.2006)

In today’s “blog-entry” I am just briefly announcing (or better yet, notifying you about) one personal thing and one thing related to my home-site: http://www.tadej-ivan.be (or shortly just: http://tadej-ivan.be); which are in fact both somehow related to each other …

You see, it’s that on the 13th day of July (that’s almost two months ago), I was having a birthday; it was my 26th one in-the-line. And usually I update my site on this occasion; at least I did that previous year and one before previous. But the thing is that I haven’t updated it from quite some in those few days before my birthday (to be precise I haven’t updated it from the 5.6.2006), and so there were so many new things that I needed to add that I had them listed in my most important “to-do file” that I was somehow avoiding to do it. Namely there were more than 40 KB in the current and the most important one (i.e. in the most important to-do file), oh yeah, and you might be asking yourselves why I wrote “in my most important” one ?? Well, it’s because there are actually four to-do files altogether, which together contain 140 KB of text to add; the “text” that contains various notes on ideas, then already written stuff (for instance my various interesting and “on-topic” posts form forums, etc.), or already made formatting changes that are only needed to be implemented to the site’s source and so on and on. Urghhh, I was definitely avoiding to do it for too long.

So anyway, then I finally did the update exactly on the day of my birthday, and additionally I’ve decided that from that day onwards, I will not maintain (and update with the fresh content) my other/redundant home-site variants; this includes Bravenet: http://satyrhosts.bravehost.com, Freehost 386: http://shirker.freehost386.com, Geocities: http://www.geocities.com/tayi137 (Yahoo), and Greatnow: http://www.satyrhosts2.greatnow.com free-hosts. The only three variants still being updated (and the only ones with the Google AdSense ads) are Voljatel: http://users.volja.net/tayiper, 50webs: http://tadej-ivan.50webs.com, and Atspace: http://ivan-tadej.atspace.com.
