10. I've created 3 completely new sites (27.08.2006)

Well, this tme something totally new: it is that I’ve created a whole new “set” of totally new sites: http://clarinet.50webs.com/index.html (primary 1) http://clarinet.50webs.org/index.html (primary 2), http://clarinet.150m.com/index.html (secondary); they are non related to computing as all my previous ones, but rather to the clarinet musical instrument …

In other words, the site is in general about my own personal experiences with the clarinet musical instrument etc. The technical information on the site is mostly gathered from the Internet, mainly from this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clarinet on Wikipedia site, although of course I modified the text a bit. The general layout used in it (i.e. navigation, general organisation etc.) was created by me, and originally used as a template for pages under “sub-other” section on my computing related sites; here are the links to its three main variants: http://tadej-ivan.50webs.com/index.html, http://ivan-tadej.atspace.com/index.html, and http://users.volja.net/tayiper/index.html, which are in fact the only ones still being updated; see one of my previous “blog-entries” for more info on that.

P.S. - Oh and I also created one “redirect” link: http://clarinet.co.nr (or rather a full domain-name), which currently points to the secondary variants though, since that one was the first one created, but I then discovered that it’s full of annoying banner-ads. /UPDATE: Well, I’ve already changed/updated it. I mean I will change it to point to one of primary ones ASAP (if possible of course), while the site that offers this is Freedomain site: http://www.freedomain.co.nr if you might be also interested in this “feature”. By the way, one similar site offering domain-redirecting is Dot.tk: http://www.dot.tk site.

Ivan I don’t understand

Ivan I don’t understand you, why you still haven’t paid a small price in order to have a domain name + hosting, is 14 euros a lot to you? You can make that in AdSense dollars in how many days at your current level?
1and1.com are cheap and good quality, running on linux or windows like you prefer.

Re: Ivan I don’t understand // (reply to "james")

Hey James, thanks for commenting. Well, I was thinking to first see if these new sites get enough traffic at all, i.e. enough to be worth buying a domain-name for them.

P.S. - But I guess you’re at least partly right, meaning that for my original/first “computing related website” buying a domain-name & hosting would most probably be a reasonable thing to do, since it’s quite popular already (average 50-100 visitors per day), and it’s trusted by Google too !!

Yes, even if you loose a few

Yes, even if you loose a few visitors initially by switching the url, the fact that you have so much content and can produce more, it won’t matter and you’ll be able to get the money back in only a few days.

I mentionned 1and1.com but try to find a 1and1 closer to you, because they also have servers in germany, so try 1and1.de or .co.uk whatever suits you best, or maybe in your own country.
