Why is Google Black?
Google has gone all black to raise awareness of a worldwide energy conservation effort called Earth Hour.
On March 29, 2008, Saturday Earth Hour is willing people on to turn their lights off for an hour between 8 : 00 pm and 9 : 00 pm. This gesture will be shown all around the world and is a gesture to raise awareness of the energy conservation.
