THE MAN THING RETURNS TO COMICS!
Well…not exactly….while he did get a new mini series last year to coincide with that AWFUL direct to cable movie that featured the title creature, the Man Thing has not seen much in terms of a new storyline/series.
However, Marvel has decided to reprint the first 20+ appearances of the lumbering Swamp Creature in the ESSENTIAL MAN THING at the affordable price of $17.95. Not a bad deal, huh?
So, you get a ton of Man Thing stories from 1971 to 1974 and, despite the book’s reputation for poor sales, the stories are pretty much excellent. So give this volume your consumer dollar.
