The contest in the U.S. elections is narrowing, with the announcement by Republican Rudy Giuliani that he is quitting the race, following the departure of John Edwards in the Democrats camp.

This is the consequence of the poor results for Giuliani and Edwards in the Florida primaries.

Giuliani got only 15% and Edwards only achieved 14% of the votes in the respective primaries for the Republicans and Democrats.
