It must be a shock to anyone to be mistaken for a suspected criminal. An elderly German couple were filmed enjoying a trip to Sicily. How the video got to hands of the FBI is not clear, but they thought the man could be their fugitive James Bulger, wanted on 18 counts of murder.

The FBI appealed for help on German TV. The couple came forward and cleared themselves.

James Bulger is in his 70’s, believed to be a man prone to violence and usually armed with a knife.
