Yes, Total Text Container can be classified as personal information manager, but, in fact, it gives a huge spec of opportunities, that go beyond the classic definition. It is an amazing and ambitious portable freeware of just 3 MB that can do almost anything. The utility description is as follows: “It is able to store information, documentation, notes, passwords, images, bookmarks, contacts, calendar events & tasks, import/export Google iCal files”. Among other features powerful multi-layer encryption, portability (no need to install the software), handling XML database, and much more in this AIO (all in one) powerful user friendly application.
Software has a simplistic intuitive interface, with minimum learning curve even for unexperienced user. Over the past month, it became for me a one of the most utilized programs in my office software portable toolbox.

Do you know
Do you know http://www.seonote.info too? Is Total Text Container better? I never used one PIM yet, but it sure sounds interesting! I don’t know what are the software on offer, of course I would prefer an open source solution rather than a freeware with proprietary source code.
Cheers,
James
