Today I received my copy of South Park The Complete Third Season. I immediately noticed that Paramount switched to a different packaging. On the first sight, it looked like a regular official digipak case, but I was wrong. It is a cheap packaging, a rip off of the official digipak disc cases. No problem, I thought… but YES IT WAS A FUDGING PROBLEM! It took me at least 30 minutes in order to find out how to get out the DVDs. No way, I’m not going to spend a half an hour in order to watch a 22 minutes episode of South Park. Anyway, I’m really pissed off.. and I don’t understand why Paramount switched to these cheap en crappy “Digipak’s”.

Here’s an overview of different “Digipak” cases.

1) The official Digipak. It’s not a very user friendly DVD packaging, but at least you CAN get out the DVDs easily, without getting a heart attack.

2) The unofficial, user friendly “Digipak”.

I mean, what can I say.. it’s the best “digipak” case out there and stuff.. so.. you know… Very user friendly.

3) The UNOFFICIAL, which looks like a an official, but it’s a very crappy, user unfriendly shitty whatever it is. It made me real angry… it took me 30 minutes … ah you know what.
