Everyone in this day and age is looking for a solution to a flatter chest/tummy. And some may say that working out the abdominal region is how you achieve that goal. But much to their suprise, that’s only half the story.
You see, the abdominal area is actually a very small muscle group in density and thickness. And it’s almost always covered in fat. Well, in reality, seeing that chisled 6-pack and defined tummy isnt all about working out. The other half of the equation is “body fat reduction”. Yes. The body’s total body fat is half the reason you don’t see that nice tummy you desire. The key is to diet enough to lose the body fat. That’s why you see skinny guys and girls with no body fat and with fairly well defined abdominal regions.
It’s not because they were working out constantly, they just had so little body fat in this area that the abs naturally show up.
And this principle works for anyone. So don’t feel like you have to gruel out set after set of crunches to get a good stomach. The workout’s only half the battle. The dieting should be a little easier.
