I just saw the movie Crank today. Let me tell you: I don’t care what anyone says about this movie, if you like action, and a little revenge, then go see this movie. Jason Statham does an excellent job portraying Chev Chellios (? dont know how to spell last name), who has been poisoned with a toxin that will kill him unless he keeps his adrenaline up.

This movie has all kinds of things, but one of the most unique thing about it is the innovation in the way it was filmed. It uses all kinds of new angles and perspectives, as well as a few freeze frame captures and a GPS map system, if you can even believe that.

When someone says a movie kept you on the edge of their seat, they were most definately talking about Crank. This movie is LITERALLY a non-stop action oriented movie. There are no bland, mundane sitting around accomplishing nothing scenes. Everything is very fast paces. And Chev does so many cool things, you truly start to understand what a person is capable of when under the impression he is going to die.

There is also a small bit of comedy, mostly situational humor created by the action. But this is NOT a comedy movie. Strictly revenge action.

Also keep in mind that this movie has some very mature themes, such as drug use, sex, and quite a bit of bloody scenes. But this doesnt overpower the movie in anyways, mind you. It’s rated R for a reason.

All in all, this movie was really great. I’m so glad I went to see it. It really did live up to all my expectations, and then exceeded it. Go see it if you get the chance.
