Tired of viruses? Tired of crashes? Tired of slow booting up times? All of the above? Or maybe you’ve grown tired of having to pay a big company every year to “keep you protected”, or because you’ve got to pay every time you want to install a new computer, even though you’ve ALREADY paid for that software.
I think you must know there’s a solution. It’s for the brave, though. Those who want to get their wallets out of Microsoft’s, Norton’s, and other’s hands. It means changing the way you’ve used a computer before: this time, it actually does what you want it to do. No crashes, no viruses, no hackers, no money. It’s free. It’s reliable. It’s Linux.
Ubuntu Linux, to be precise. Yeah, I know, you’re probably thinking that you’ve got to pay at least something, that it’s not secure, or that you won’t know how to use it. I say, Give it a try. I’m using it, right now, while writing this post. It looks awesome and has made my computer run a lot faster than when it used Windows. Plus, the support and the help you get from people around the web is astonishing! No “validation” every time you want to do something, consult something, or whatever. It truly works.
Now, I’ll let you make your decision. You can do whatever you want. Then again, I say give it a try. It’s free, after all. I, for example, had never used it before, but asked for a CD and installed it nonetheless. I haven’t stopped using Windows, but now I have the option to use Ubuntu anytime I want. And I do.
Just try it out. You can ask for a free CD (they cover S&H and everything) of Ubuntu 6.06 LTS (Long-term support) here. The CD includes a Live CD feature, which lets you try Ubuntu without having to install it in your PC, without changing anything. It’s totally safe. And did I mention it’s free?
Or, if you have really fast internet access, you can download the same version here.
If I caught your attention, but you want to do some more reading before trying it out, no problem! Just go here www.ubuntu.com

How can they do that you wonder? It’s a rich guy who support the Ubuntu project, he’s so rich he paid himself a trip in space for something like 20 millions dollars.
Yes of course you might say he better do something better with his dollars than go to space and support a free software, but in my opinion he can do what he wants and I don’t support the idea that feeding more africans is helping humanity AT ALL. I don’t buy in this bullshit!
