It’s funny how I never thought of writing about Panama, my home country. Truth is, it’s a real rough diamond given that there’s lots of people out there wanting to know more about it… and here I am, living in this paradise.
Since I can give all of you people out there a real insight into what is Panama, I figured I may as well write a couple of articles about it. I know there are a couple out there interested, since retired people and tourist affluence has increased very much over the last years.
Just to introduce, Panama is a tropical paradise. It has got coasts in both the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean: the beaches are just beautiful! However, between those two beautiful coasts, there are highlands, like the Baru Volcano and Boquete, two of the sites most preferred for retired people to live and visit. Also, Panama has pure and well-conserved rain forests, like the one in Darien, which is considered the second largest in the Americas after the Amazonia and the Metropolitan Park, which is right in the middle of a thriving city.
Panama is also a great real estate paradise. In the last years, the construction sector of the economy has grown exponentially, with hundreds of apartment and office buildings, and residential projects being constructed. Panama has also got the Colon Duty Free Zone, the largest in the Western world, an excellent site for business. Finally, Panama’s strong Banking Center provide well over a hundred banks, both international and local, for all your financial needs.
I’ll keep writing about Panama for a long time because my beautiful country has a lot going for it. This has just been the beginning.
