Stop drinking soda, beer, and bottled water. Drink tap water instead, it is free! In many cases, the generic brand tastes just as good as the name brand. Whenever possible, buy generic and you will be surprised at the savings. This alone can result in a huge amount of savings. Before going shopping for groceries, eat a light meal. Don’t ever go to the grocery store if you are hungry, it leads to impulse buying. Make a grocery list before going to the store. And NEVER buy anything that you do not have written down on your list! Use coupons and shop at stores that offer to double or even triple them. Look for sales and take advantage of them. Most people can cut their monthly grocery bills by almost 40%, just by using the tips presented here.
