What do you think about the Imus fireing?

In my opinion it was wrong.

The music industry has for ages sponsored the artists (using the term loosely) that use these terms all the time.

So I ask you can the music industry stop the use of these words, or will the artists stop the use of these words. Will any of these people be fired from the studios?

No they won’t because it means money to them. As long as they can make a buck off of the music they will keep the same language in them.

So how will it change?

We will have to change it. We can vote where it hurts, just stop buying the records that use these words.

If it hits the wallet of these people they will stop, that is the only way that it will change.

Is this a racist issue? No it has nothing to do with race, it has to do with dignity.

These people that use this kind of language to talk about anyone degrade not only the people that they talk about but themselves as well.
