She Told Me

OK. You are on the lot, you are looking for the car you have decided to look for, and the sales person has seen you looking.

In most cases the sales person has about 2 minutes to get to you before either you get out of your car or you speed off ignoring them.

Please show some etiquette, and don’t just drive off waving as you go. If you don’t see what you’re looking for at least stop and let the sales person talk to you. Many a sales person has gotten a lecture or even lost their job by not stopping cars that drive thru.

Believe it or not, sales people are told to either bring you inside or let a sales manager talk to you before you leave the lot.

You also never know what is actually on the lot until you ask. Trade in cars are placed in a processing area for a few days before they are placed on the lot. They have to be inspected, documented, payoffs sent to the sellers account, and window stickers applied.

That one car you are looking for maybe on the back lot, but if you don’t ask you will miss it.

Stay tuned for the next entry.
