Ok…
So I open up my email and I get yet another ad for someone with a book or set of books being sold to show you how to make money with adsense.
Their topic is about how much you can make with adsense, including some sharp looking page from their payout window ghosted over to only show you the payout ammount.
You will even see some of the words highlighted in this to pop up ads that I have not placed there, from sites that have nothing to do with me or my blog, just because they match some words and are trying to sell you something.
The question should be how much are they makeing with adsense, and how much are they makeing selling the promise of makeing money with adsense?
It seems to me more money is being made sellling the promise books, or studys on how you make money with adsense, or sites designed to make money with adsense, or videos showing you how to make money, than the money being made from adsense itself.
Instead of makeing adsense sites I should be writeing a book about all the money ($63.85 now) I have made on adsense, only doctor the payout page with a few more zeroes to sell the book.
I am getting sick and tired of all the ads, books, and videos that talk about all the big bucks you can make and all the time the money isn’t coming in from adsense, but the sale of the book to people like me that are buying into the dream.
I added my site to the top 500 site(s) that promise to get you traffic, I placed ads in adwords and yahoo, I seo optimized my sites.
I even bought into the idea of making my own eBooks to sell and make big bucks. So I wrote an eBook about my past job as a car salesman and tips to buying a car, and bloged my sites all over the net (zero sales yet). Instead of actual information I should have wrote it that you can make a million with it, or wrote it about adsence.
It seems that the big bucks are in selling the dream of adsense not in actually using adsense to make income or anything else.
I think that their are a lot of people in the same boat that I am, and getting fed up.
I found a posting about a person that spent a large amount of money having someone build them an adsense site only to discover that it was just a template and the money was in selling them hosting from their affiliate with the web host.
A lot of people are being sold a bill of goods, and more and more are falling for it every day.
Don’t get me completley wrong, adsense is a good program, and you can make money from it, but it is not the get rich quick, or even get rich over a few months that a lot of people buying into these books, and videos are being sold on.
If you are looking into getting an adsense site up and running, please look into a inexpensive template or, informational book that doesn’t promise you overnight to pull in that $2,000 a day.
These sites are just trying to make a buck off of all of us that want that dream, in other words use a little sense before jumping onto the adsense bandwagon.
