Ok, so I bought one of those ready made adsense template packages…..really cheap. Now I am not so sure I like it. There are over 5000 pages all with the same design and layout. You just do the find and replace thing, upload it to your site and you are off and running. Sort of.
I had to do a bit of tweaking to get it to load on my site. Still haven’t got them all on there yet. And don’t really know if I want to. I am going to go in and redo the content of each page as I get the chance…..talk about a work in progress! Do I appreciate the savings in time to develope these pages, oh yeah! But the content is crap. The layout is generic. I can see why Google has the TOS they do. There are so many of these guys out there generating adsense templates with no content, lots of broken links, and ads, ads, ads.
I definately got what I paid for……and no more!
So when you think about buying a site template package, Google it first. See what others are saying about the guy before you buy. Check to see if others have sites up with the same content. Ask others you forum with if they know of the company, campaign, or seller.
Your best bet, I feel, is to do what I did. I have my own pages that I developed, and I just link to the other 3 or 4 thousand………ugh! Just the thought of editing is making me go to junk! lol!
