I have found out, as I am sure many of you have, that stupid people annoy the hell out of me. Not the ones who really don’t know. The ones that do, are the ones I am talking about. The person who is always upset about what is going on in their life because they know something isn’t right, but they just don’t know what. Come off it, yes they do! They know exactly what is happening. They just don’t want to face it. So they play stupid, and when the inevitable comes, they act shocked. They act as though the whole world knew but them. We have instinct for a reason. We have the ability to reason. We can form opinions. We have a brain, and brain power. We can assess a situation, draw our conclusions and know how to proceed. We can process the input and figure out the dilema. I can not stand people who say they don’t know how to do that. It is our God given right to be able to do all of this. That is what makes us human and not part of the sub animal chain….yet I am not quite sure how far below us they really are. They have ways of dealing with stupidity in the a ranks of the animal kingdom. We, as a whole, pity the fools and foolhardy. We play into their game as the consoling neighbor caught in their soap opera drama. WE KNEW it was going to happen, we knew the kid was on a path of destruction, we knew the wife was cheating, we knew the husband beat her, we knew the daughter was sleeping around, we knew the drugs would get the best of him. We knew……..yet we did nothing about it. We knew and said not a word. We knew and watched, thankful it wasn’t part of our lives or family. We knew, and were stupid because we could have saved them or stopped them or at least let them know we were here, yet did nothing. So the next time you see someone being stupid, find out why, and see if you can help. Or continue to be just as ignorant as them, ignore it and maybe it will go away…………….you know, when Hitler was a little boy, and learning how to manipulate his friends and family, I bet there was some one who said, ignore it, it’s just a phase he’ll outgrow.
