Hello, as you probably now if you’ve been reading some of my previous posts and newsletters, I have the project of creating another site just like Senserely, with AdSense sharing between members.
I will need to do some serious web design if I don’t want you to end up with a blog and design like here on Senserely… :-)
First things first I am not going to use the same web hosting company as Senserely, as you can see the keywords feature is broken since a long long time ago, with no chance of fixing it. So I will use a web hosting company of a higher quality. For Senserely 1and1 is the web hosting company and for the new site it is Dreamhost. It’s like the moon and the sun in terms of features and price!
Secondly I will use Drupal 6 for the new site, Senserely is based on Drupal 4.x! With Drupal 6 I’ll be able to design a lot of useful features for the blog platform. I’ll make sure I keep what we have on Senserely and improve on it. It’s not a secret that I love Drupal and would recommend it for anybody, beginner or expert, who wants to start a website, a simple one or a multiusers one. Drupal is THE BEST CMS, if you disagree, please don’t tell me that it’s Joomla. Any other we can talk, but if you’re saying it’s Joomla then I don’t want anything to do with you, and no talk.
When designing a blog to be used by many users, one thing you don’t want to do is having too much going on at the same time, like it is currently on Senserely. So I’ll keep this in mind.
And finally, I will respect the basic recommandations that any web designer should follow regarding the quality of the HTML & CSS code. It needs to respect web standards.
I’m pretty confident that the new site will meet success sooner than Senserely. I’ll use a domain name which I already have a website on for over a year, so Google already know about the domain, there will be no penalty associated with a brand new domain name.
I will do this new AdSense in the next few weeks and I will email you all to join in the fun!

Good luck to you, and thanks
Good luck to you, and thanks for all efforts! I am not sure, how I can help you, but if you need some assistance, let me know.
