The definition of viral marketing or viral advertising is promoting information or products that other customers are compelled to give to other friends, colleagues and family. The same is with viral video. You share your video with others by sending link to video by e-mail to friends, they send others, etc.
So, if you make viral video and use this method, you can easily get a lot of traffic. And the story starts to be interesting, if you have your ads on that video page, or, if you have revverized video (with an ad at the end), or, the best - if you have both…..

Save all material to your hard disk and open Windows Movie Maker. Prepare Title for your story, choose images and import them into timeline. You can add some visual effects and transitions to the video and also sound. Don’t be too long. 2-3 minutes is enough. When you’re satisfied, save your work in wmv format. And that’s that! You made viral video about top story. You’re ready to upload your video to videohosting sites. The next step is promotion.

Hi, if one has a website where to host revver videos along with adsense ads, do you think it is a good thing to do a shorter video for common video upload sites such as youtube and have the full video only on revver? The shorter video, like a teaser, would have a message prompting users to go to the website in order to get the full version (in revver format) that they can share with friends? Or is this too cumbersome to be realistic? What’s your opinion on this and what do you do yourself?
