Born in Vienna, Mr. Grunwald came to America at the age of seventeen and enrolled at New York University.Henry Grunwald was editor-in-chief of all Time Inc.’s publications from June 1979 until 1987, as well as a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Before that (1968-1977), he was managing editor of Time magazine.
