The Privy Council in London granted the infamous New Zealand murderer of his parents and siblings, David Bain, a retrial after quashing his conviction.
In the interests of getting a fair trial, the original trial venue, Dunedin City, Bain’s home town, may be switched 200 miles north to Christchurch City. It will most likely delayed for 3 months.
I will write a history of the Bain family murders,his court trial and subsequent sentence in due course.
