The people from http://www.petsmobility.com/ have found out a way to talk to you dog, and really understand what they say… at least, that’s what they say. Most people will react with: wow, that’s bullshit. It probably is, but there is evidence that animals can talk.. so maybe your dog can too!
Dolphins, for example, learn “names” of their closest buddies, well, the sound that their buddies produce. The dolphin can call his friend in that way by immitating his sound, and yes, his friend will come to him!
Whales find a partner by singing. Scientists really have found a sort of repeating melody in the sounds, and the female whales react on those songs. But ofcourse, not only water animals can communicate.
Other scientists(?) are trying to make a sort of horse-dictionary, so you can hear how the horse is feeling. Sounds quite useless to me, but they probably think there’s a market for that..
So, can your dog talk? I don’t think so, at least not in the way we do. At least, I can’t tell the difference between my dogs “I’m gonna bite you”-bark and her “I’m hungry”-bark. But if they could talk, and they would invent something to talk with them, how much use would it be? They probably only protest against being imprisoned or they ask for food, not things you want to hear al day long.
