Beware of the mail, because there has been a virus writer who wrote a Trojan program and made it look like Google Toolbar. Here is how it goes, spam message that originate from the Trojan are being circulated and the message contain an offer to download the latest version of Google Toolbar with the link provided. The link will provide the user with a website which was design to look exactly alike Google website. An option to download the toolbar for the user’s browser will then be provided. The moment the toolbar is downloaded , the Trojan will be activated, turning the user’s pc into a mail spamming machine and also providing a back door for hacker to access the user’s computer.

So, First is to never trust a link provided by spam mail or mails of unknown origin and even if you know where it comes from , don’t download things unless you are sure of the source.
