We need machines to live!

I was just thinking bout how many electronic gadgets and machines the average person has in their life to help them. If you think about it we are in the machine and robot age really. Tv’s, Laptops, kettles, ovens, lights, hair dryers, hair stylers, beauty equipment and the list goes on. I don’t know if this is the best way for humans to live as we are so dependent on machines really. If you want anything you can get a machine to help do it for you - we don’t need to be so creative as others in the past. Sewing machines create an embroidery pattern automatically, hoovers clean for you and there’s automatic ones now you can get which you just turn on and then they go round your house and hoover for you, hair stylers for curls, hair straighteners, beauty laser treatments for face and skin beauty and hair removal, whitening for the teeth, saws for cutting and shaping wood, carpentry and painting tools. You can even get photos touched up, your voice changed to sound good on radio or tv,
and there’s so many more gadgets that help us every day. What does this really mean for us? Maybe we don’t use our brains as much and lose some imagination like this and also get lazy about what we look like in a way or what we do. And sometimes it’s better to do things yourself so you keep your mind working and don’t have to rely just on machines to help you.
