Another way I’m trying to make contacts online is by joining Social Networking sites. One of the sites I’ve started using recently, and wait for it, which is really well known, is Facebook. I don’t know if any of you use Facebook, I’m sure you do, but it’s really a huge website. You can bookmark your favorite pages, make contacts, add friends, network and lots more. For example, you can customize your profile and add all your Instant Messaging details like skype, aol, google talk, and others. You can also make different pages, which are kind of already set up for you. All you have to do is fill in your details to make them look good. For example you can make a business page, travel page, music page and more. Like this you can get lots of readers and friends to get all your news. Upload your latest music, build a fan base, show off your latest photos, tell everyone about your new events, gigs, conferences.. And they have what are called applications - hundreds it looks like, you can add these to your profile to spice things up a bit on your page - add a fun wall, send your friends posters, cards, cool messages, add a wishlist, add your favorite shoes and wardrobe, find roomates and accommodation, even sell your stuff at your garage sale or start a whole affiliate shop.
