I’ve done quite a few posts on becoming a fashion model on my blog CYBERCOOLSNEWS There’s lots of tips about getting started in modeling, getting your portfolio done and z card and promoting yourself at agencies, plus some links to modeling websites and free to join modeling sites where you can upload your photos, add your bio and network with photographers, fashion agents and agencies, and other models. Plus some of them also list castings you can apply for,and help you to apply directly online from your members area.
Fashion modeling is a huge industry and if you want to be a model it’s not so hard depending what kind of modeling you want to do. You can do all kinds of modeling, promotional modeling, tv commercials, photographic modeling, catwalk and fashion shows, fitting modeling, fitness modeling, modeling for music videos and more - The good thing is that it doesn’t really matter what you look like if you choose the right market for what you want to do. For example if you want to do catwalk or fitness or be in tv commercials then you would have a different look for each and your portfolio would show you in this image. You could be any shape or size, and some models just do face modeling, others swimwear, others promotional modeling, it just depends.
