She Told Me

I’ve been a vegan for quite a long time now and was a vegetarian before anyway. Even if you didn’t eat meat there are a lot of other dishes you can make to fill you up. Potato dishes, vegetable dishes, different salads, bean casseroles, different rice recipes and different recipes from around the world like Indian, Chinese, Caribbean, Thai. As a vegan you can be creative with deserts as well as some vegans don’t like eating all fruits or any dairy products. You can make fruit salads, ice cream or sorbet alternatives, some baked apples, even dairy free cakes and biscuits. Now that I recently finished with my last boyfriend I have been eating out a lot more. But because I haven’t had much money I have been looking for cheaper alternatives to expensive restaurants where you have to pay at least £20 for a meal. Still it’s hard to get a meal without paying less than £10, once you’ve had drinks, one main dish, vegetables or salad. So I’ve been cooking at home more - which I find a bit boring - but I always end up cooking more than I need really.
