Jennifer Lopez gave birth to a boy and girl -twins - early Friday shortly after midnight at Long Island.
Lopez married her husband Marc Anthony in 2004. Her pregnancy was something for gossip and rumour until she officially announced it last November during a concert in Miami.
This is her third marriage. She was previously married to waiter Ojani Noa in 1997 and to dancer Cris Judd in 2001. She was also engaged to actor Ben Affleck in 2002. They split up in January 2004. Five months later, she married Marc Anthony.
Earlier this month during an interview on Spanish television her husband Marc announced they were expecting twins.
Both parents are reportedly delighted and thrilled.
