Hello, I’d like to present you ROOMSTER which is a website devoted to helping you find and manage your apartments, roommates and sublets. It seems to me that Roomster is the leader, technically speaking at least, in the renting hunting online.
Why?
Because the website is clear, simple to use and fast to load, and the emphasis is put on the users, so you can see who’s online and what are the newest apartment available for rent. It makes use of Google Maps to easily locate the apartments, member subscription is free, you have a messaging system included, it’s easy to search the database of apartments and roommates with quicklinks to the searches, by gender, age, etc.. From the look of it there is a large and active membership to this site. It’s focused on USA, CANADA and UK cities only.
If I’d have to recommend something to the owners of Roomster is to take care how they label their AdSense ads, because only two texts are allowed: “Sponsored Links” and “Advertisement” so they should be careful not to label them with confusing titles such as “RESOURCES”.. Anyway, all of Senserely’s members know this rule, don’t you? It’s in the AdSense TOS..
Anyway, if you’re from one of the supported countries and are looking for an apartment, for a roommate or want to sublet your house, go to the leader site, don’t settle for less. It’s like when you want to sell something online, why would someone go anywhere else than ebay? It’s the same.
