Revenue Sharing and Communities

communities | revenue sharing | social networks

Social networks and other community sites provide various interests for visitors. They can find intellectually or emotionally satisfaction or both. But visitors often need strong encouragement to join and become active users or members of site. If community offer a revenue model than visitors have the reasonable financial interest in signing in.

Nowadays so many community sites are springing up all over the net so revenue sharing as a bussines model could be an advantage over community sites. It is fact, also, that some users are better skilled in revenue generation but there is a large number who aren’t, but they are very good in content creation, so they can still share revenue sharing site success.

Generally, in revenue sharing community sites everybody wins. Site owners and active members who create and share content. However, you must have in mind that communities and social networks are very dynamic places and they have variety stages of growth. If community lose key members or if the copyright issues are not very clearly defined (esspecially for blogging, photo and videosharing) then the site could be very quick in a grey zone of legality - from companies which offer advertising revenue (ussually Google AdSense) and content owners who have copyrights.
