DIGG IT! Because we want a bit of traffic. And links.

digg | links | traffic

Hi, I’ve added a DIGG IT button in front of all your articles, so next time you or a visitor find your article they can either submit or vote for your article on DIGG.com

If your article is not yet on DIGG, clicking the button will send you to the submit page with most fields pre-filled with the article’s information, that is cool.
Then afterwards, clicking on the button will send you to the vote page in order to cast a vote (visitors need to have or create a DIGG account to vote)

The resulting traffic will be made of mainly geeks, so they’re mostly (but not all) not going to be much interested by the advertisements. But they might want to create links from their blog to your article, if the article is interesting enough.

This is called link baiting, if you do a how to article, a list of best of, and some controversial viewpoints, anything than can generate incoming links, then don’t hesitate to click on the DIGG IT button on the top left of your article.

Note that for some months previously I tried another one bump-thing, but it was really useless afterall, so let’s try the well known DIGG for some time, see how it works out.

Cheers,
James
