I really would like to know if this is true that companies in America pay us to take part in surveys.

In my 8 years of internet experience, none that I knew personally told that me that he has indeed received money by a paid to answer survey website.

I noticed an increase of advertisements through email nowadays. But I never had the courage to try it since all are asking for upfront money.

But some of online contacts have advertised in their blogs that they are getting paid. These are my long time contacts, so I there is no ground on which I can doubt them.

Anyone care to share their experience?
