It is about google’s blog search and pinging service.

Google says,” The Google Blog Search Pinging Service attempts to share its pings with the rest of the world.”.

By using their advanced search options, you can search blogs in 35 languages.

There is even a ‘safe search’ function to filter out adult content.

And the pinging service can be very useful to inform google about the updates on your blog. Remember to ping it whenever there is an update.
