GOD CARRIED HER CHILD

Almost a year ago I read an article in a magazine which gave me the inspiration & trust in God. It is all about an ailing mother and her spiritual experience. I wish I could narrate everything in the true sense of that lady’s life and miracle.

Let me name her as Isabella and start writing. Isabella experienced a strange feeling of pain and breathlessness. She was taken to a hospital atonce. There
the doctors diagnosed it as heart attack. Injections were given but she became unconcious. But she woke up in response to an unknown sound calling her name.

The nurses told her that her heart stopped twice and electric shock was given and her heart massaged vigourously. They said it was a miracle that she came back to life.

Angiogram was taken and the result was alarming. It was a rarest kind of heart attack. It was a dissected coronary artery. The main right artery had split from top to bottom. The doctor and nurses stood with their mouths gaping speechless and wondering how a person could still be alive? But Isabella knew why? The nurses told her that they could feel the presence of God in the room throughout the entire crisis. Isabella knew that God preserved her for a definite purpose and she felt that she had to carry on a mission to Glorify Him.

It was not over for Isabella. A bigger problem came within six months of her recovery from heart attack. Medical checkup confirmed that Isabella was pregnant. This was a terrific shock to her. Because the doctors had warned her not to fall pregnant.

Specialists could not give her guarantee of life throughout her pregnancy and said Isabella might get another heart attack which could be fatal. They suggested termination of pregnancy. But Isabella and her husband Samuel were not for abortion. They believed that God was the author of every pregnancy and they had no right to terminate a life that God had created.

Knowing fullwell the consequences of carrying on with the pregnancy Isabella started praying and turned to the Lord desperately for her life. At that moment she could hear a voice from her heart saying..”Give up the right to preserve your own life”.

Understanding God’s ways, Isabella surrendered and committed her life and the growing child within her into His hands. Immediately she felt relief from all sorts of fears. She felt that a heavy weight had been lifted off her. Isabella and her husband informed the doctors that they would not terminate but proceed with the pregnancy.

Some days later the Lord showed Isabella a vision while she was praaying. She was very happy to see the child in her womb held in His hands.

From that time onwards she could feel a vast difference in comparison to her previous pregnancies. First, there was no morning sickness. Secondly, she was not exhausted and actually felt in the best of health. It was true because the Lord was carrying the baby.

When Isabella reached her seventh month of pregnancy she was advised to have a heart echo. The tresults were amazing! The damaged heart was in the same condition but the heart echo showed no trace of damage at all. She knew that God had done this incredible miracle!

Everything said and done, Isabell was a bit afraid of delivering the baby. She was not confident about her heart. But God made everything smooth and she delivered a boy baby. It was a normal delivery. A miracle indeed!

This was supposed to be the most dangerous of all her previous pregnancies but the Lord made it to be the best and easiest of them all.

Isabella was healed and GOD CARRIED HER BABY till the end.
