Easy Pizza

Here is an easy pizza to make for a nice snack or meal. Make it healthy by using fresh veggie toppings or load it up with meats and cheeses!

Pizza dough ingredients:
3 1/2 cups of bread flour
1 cup warm water
2 tablespoons yeast
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt

Topping:
2-3 tablespoons tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
4 tablespoons grated italian chesses (mozzarella, parmesan, provolone, etc.)

additional topping suggestions:
sliced fresh tomatoes
green peppers
onions
olives
pepperoncini
pepperoni
ham
sausage
pineapple
mushrooms
meatballs

Make the dough:

Mix yeast, with water honey and olive oil. Stir very well and let sit for 5 minutes.

Mix salt and flour in large bowl. Pour the yeast mixture in the center and mix until even consistency.

Knead the dough for ten minutes. Place the dough back into the bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 30 minutes. (the dough should double in size)

Press the dough out into a flat round sheet to make your pizza crust.

Prepare toppings:

Spread tomato sauce covering the crust evenly.

Sprinkle 2 tablespoons (half) of your cheeses evenly over the sauce.

Arrange your additional toppings over the first layer of cheese.

Sprinkle italian seasoning, evenly over the pizza.

Sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the pizza.

Bake your pizza:

Preheat oven to 375.
Lightly oil a baking sheet with olive oil.
Sprinkle the oiled sheet with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place on center rack and bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and the crust starts to brown.
