How to stop GIF animations on websites

Hii guys any of those who wanted to stop those gif animations on ur websites can easily achive this by simply pressing the ESC key on your keyboard. They can be revived again by pressing the F5 or refresh. Its simple isn’t it guys. The only problem with this is that it doesnt work with Opera. So those using FF and IE out there enjoyy this trick guys.
