Mythbusters Fans Out There?

discovery channel | documentary | Entertainment | mythbusters | Programme | TV

Now I love Mythbusters, watch it every week. I still think I might have missed an early episode or two, but I think I’m doing well. The only problem is the US get to see the programmes first and it’s like a 6 month delay in getting it in the UK.

Anyway, I have posted a few comments in the reccommendations section, but you’ve got like a one in a million chance of it getting on the air.

I posted one about swans. Now the Mythbusters love animal myths and I’ve always been told that a swan can break your arm…

Anyone ever been hurt by a swan? I thought they’re just a bit aggressive, but not strong enough to seriously hurt you.

Possibly the biggest waste of two hours...

If anyone’s reading this and lives in the UK, you may have just had the pleasure of watching the ’Top 100 Standup Comedians’

Anyway, they were all there: Tommy Cooper, Peter Kay, Bernard Manning, Jerry Seinfeld etc etc. So, the list was good. So good, I had to walk the dog.

I was impressed though with the order they were coming in. Until we got to number 1:

Billy Connolly

I mean… AAAHHHH! Of all the people in the world! Not that useless comedian. I’ve watched him and split my sides, but that was as I walked out of the theater becuase he was so bad and tripped down the stairs and bruised a rib: (joke joke)

How was your St. Patrick's day?

So, I’m still here, 23:21 Sunday and I’ve got an unbelieveable hangover… I had the best St. Patrick’s Day ever, nevertheless!

I hope anyone reading this might have also been out last night drinking Guinness?! But a Guinness hangover is a miserable one, regardless of how cheerful it made you, 10 hours before!

Here’s one for you though… In England, all the pubs put up Irish flags, clovers hanging from the celing and deals on pints of Guinness. It’s always a great night, because we can even drink for an extended hour, (if the bar hasn’t already got a 24 hour licence). However…. We English never really celebrate St. George’s Day on any form of a scale that St. paddy’s day is done. Even the bars aren’t given an extra hour for drinking… I mean, that’s really unfair :o(

Any people work in the banking industry?

I need a little help please…

I’m looking to start a new account with a spread betting company, but I don’t know loads and loads about it, so I was wondering if anyone knew any good info, (yes I’ve looked on Wiki) but I couldn’t find anything in any real depth.

So in conclusion, I just need some help!

Thank you!

Ok, so I’m here reading the paper and I can’t get my head around this one…

The old nursery rhyme about ’The Three Little Pigs’ (you know it, with the wolf who was going to “huff and puff and blow your house down”)

Well anyway, it turns out that a primary school in Huddersfield, England are changing the famous old nursery rhyme to ’The Three Little Puppies’
