In other words employ your thought only for practical purposes.
Is it confusing?
I will try to give you an answer.
When I said employ your thought for practical purposes, I meant that 99% of our thoughts are wasteful. For example, almost all of our thoughts are always linked to the past or we are projecting our past into the future, and thereby ignoring the present with no action on our part. Thought without action is zero.
