Today I received my copy of South Park The Complete Third Season. I immediately noticed that Paramount switched to a different packaging. On the first sight, it looked like a regular official digipak case, but I was wrong. It is a cheap packaging, a rip off of the official digipak disc cases. No problem, I thought… but YES IT WAS A FUDGING PROBLEM! It took me at least 30 minutes in order to find out how to get out the DVDs. No way, I’m not going to spend a half an hour in order to watch a 22 minutes episode of South Park. Anyway, I’m really pissed off.. and I don’t understand why Paramount switched to these cheap en crappy “Digipak’s”.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 for the Xbox 360 is the hardest game EVER! At least, that’s what I thought when I was playing this game. It took me 3 hours to beat Shao Kahn on NOVICE! That’s right, on novice, the EASIEST mode. I mean, c’mon.. its NOVICE, it should be easy… but it isn’t. This game is horrible.
Before buying the game, I was aware of the fact that the single player was broken. But I did not care: I enjoyed playing Mortal Kombat 3 many years ago… and I never had any problems with beating the game. But this version is different. The game is somehow pretty messed up. Whether it is the Xbox 360 controller, which is probably unsuitable for this type of games or this game, which is a big joke, I don’t know. If you want to beat this game, you have to look for flaws. Mastermovies, wie kent ze niet? Het gaat nergens over, maar daardoor zijn de filmpjes niet minder grappig. Het bekendst zijn de voice-overs van onder andere The Matrix, Titanic en Night Rider, maar ook de serie ondergronds die ontstaan is door Gamekings is super hilarisch. Memorabel is de voice-over van een Dr. Phill show en wat dacht je van “Ich bin macho”? Verder maken ze in samenwerking met de Power Unlimited Baklap TV, die gaat over games en gamen maar niet helemaal. Het gaat weliswaar over gamen, maar er worden geen games besproken. De games zijn enkel een decor voor flauwe grappen en hilarische ingezonden brieven, die worden behandeld door Dr. Ted!

I few weeks ago, I found this extremely useful website: http://multiki.arjlover.net/. The thing is, I was looking for some old Russian films that weren’t out on DVD. After a few minutes I found this website. It contains over 1700 GB of free Russian films, that is old classics. You won’t find any new movies. But it’s not only movies, there are also many many cartoons, often very famous ones. At the end, I was very content. The only problem is: if you do not have a Russian IP, you can’t download the whole day. International visitors can only download from 4.00 AM till 10.00 AM (GMT+3). No registration required, no torrents involved, it’s direct download only (right click, save as).

Sergio Leone is the man! If you haven’t heard of the director, shame on you! You probably know the following movies: “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”, “ Once Upon a Time in the West” and “Once Upon a Time in America”. Well, Leone is the director of these movies. I’m not sure what the first western I saw was, but it was probably The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. I was completely blown away by that movie. The film is extremely attractive and the long shots are memorable. For example: the opening scene in which a dog is crossing a road, lasts 16 seconds! Leone is also well known for his extreme close-up shots.
