Here’s a website that lists some alternatives to the 2500 dollar costing Adobe CS3. www.thefreesuite.com.
It’s all open source, and I don’t think it will get the same level of professionality of the Adobe programs. Also you will have some trouble with the compatibility of the file extensions… but it is free, and legal (as far as I know).
I’m going to test one or two of these programs, maybe they work as good as the adobe versions, probably they won’t.

Some people play the free MMO’s like Silkroad online (www.silkroadonline.net), runescape, hero online, maple story etc. etc. So I’ve tried one of them, silkroad online, to see how it works.
I didn’t come far because of the problem with a lot of free things: a lot of people want to have them. All servers were permanently full, and they don’t use a good login system (you press login a few thousand times, then you get a screen with an authorisation code, you press ok, and the game stops.. so you can start all over again). I’ve tried for over one hour, only resulting in irritation and a crashing computer, and all this because it’s a free game, you can probably never play because the servers are permanently full.

csseasy.com is a new website where you can learn how to use CSS, at least the basics. You can view the layout you want, copy this basic layout, and put it on your site, where you can add a few things.
There are hundreds of sites like this, but this one has it’s own domain name, and you can copy the layouts without linking back. The way the site works is also very simple, you look up the kind of layout you want, click on it and you see the result, and you copy the source. http://www.thenoodleincident.com/tutorials/box_lesson/boxes.html was less clear in my opinion: you get the code, but you don’t see the layout you’ll get.

A few years ago, I was having fun playing things backwards. You can find these ‘satanic messages‘ in a lot of music, even in spongebob! Here are 2 fragments of the spongebob song ‘Goofy Goober‘ in which I´ve found some clear evidence of a text line when you play it backwards.

Since a few days, I’m member of spymac (http://www.spymac.com), and I must say: I like it. This site offers you a possibility to upload pictures, audio and of course video’s, and to make money with them.
You get a part of the daily ad-income, depending how much your pictures/audio/video are viewed and rated. You also get a part of the monthly jackpot if your uploads where well visited. This site is not adsense-based.
A thing I like about this site is that you don’t have to upload video’s, but you can upload other content. I’m not a great movie-maker, but I do photoshop a bit. I’ve uploaded 2 of my photoshop’s ugliest creations, and it did pay me out a bit more than 1 dollar. That’s 1 dollar in 2 days, and that’s a lot more than my flixya/revver income…

I’ve made a small list of a few sites that have a collection of wii-compatible flash games. I had the idea to make such a site myself, and I’ll add that site to the list. But as you will see, the other sites are better.
I do got some questions about why we should play flash games on the Wii, I mean, you can play more flash games on your computer, and the it’s easier to play behind your computer.. but oh well, here’s the list

Maybe the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen, somebody eating tea with chopsticks! Ofcourse, you can only do this in microgravity (if you want your tea to be warm), but it’s still a weird sight.
Even if it looks quite cool to eat it this way, I would probably prefer to just drink it, from a cup, with gravity.
If you want to do this trick in a cheap way, not spending billions of dollars to go to space, you can put your tea in the fridge, and afterwards eat it with chopsticks if you like. (don’t use a glass cup for this little trick, it will pr

A friend of mine found this site where you can play old nes games on your computer. You don’t have to do anything but having fun playing the game, no downloads, nothing… well, you need Java SE 6, but you probably already have that.
There are nearly 700 NES games including the legendary ones like Zelda and Kirby’s adventure, so you don’t have to be bored, if you are right now (you must be, otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this post).
Start playing at http://www.virtualnes.com/
A great site, especially if you’re nintendo fan =) (ofcourse, buying a NES and all the games is much more fun/better.. but this will do for the moment)

Some great music I’ve found, it’s the new beginning and ending of maybe my favorite anime serie Death Note! The serie is weird, so maybe they thought to add some weird music to it. I think it’s the worst music I’ve ever did hear, but apparently some people think that this heavy metal… metal… JCore(?) whatever this is, is music.
The people of Maximum the hormone, the band, also are a little weird… but that’s not a large problem if you don’t see the clip.
A nice thing is that they’ve put some links with the Death Note series in their clip… have fun finding them!
Submitted by Flodo on Sun, 2007-03-18 19:42.beautiful | channel | everybody | name | votes | Wii | WiiConnect24
This was the world-wide question on the everybody votes channel on the Nintendo Wii. I thought everybody would say yes, but that wasn’t true… 16.9% of the Wii users world-wide does not think his/her name is beautiful! I really can’t believe that, around 17% must have a inferiority complex or something like that… at least, you can’t be happy with yourself if you don’t like your own name!
A typical thing is that more women then men had this problem (why!?). Japan was the country with the most people who disliked their name.
It is healthy to have a small amount of self-criticism, but disliking a part of yourself… that goes a bit to far in my opinion.
